Sextons descended from Timothy (G2): Scobaun (Lot 4) & Toehead

OS map (c. 1840) showing Lot 4, Scobaun.

Timothy Sexton G2 (c.1765 – 1835) had at least four sons. John (Scobaun c.1795 – 1847) was the founder of the line that continued to live in Scobaun until the 1970s while Patrick (Toehead c. 1805-1899) was the founder of the line that continues to John Sexton who still lives in Toehead today. Two other sons, Cornelius and Michael, both of Toehead, appear to have had sons but both lines seem to have died out in the mid to late 19th century. There may well have been another son (James?) and quite possibly a number of daughters.

The sub-menus from this category trace the lines of John (Scobaun c.1795 – 1847), Cornelius (Toehead), Michael (Toehead) and Patrick (Toehead c. 1805-1899) – all G3.
